RESD 705 Quantitative Research Methodology in Information Systems (4 Credits)
This course presents an overview of the research process from a quantitative, qualitative, survey, and evaluative perspective. Techniques for planning and designing these types of research studies, as well as the methodologies for data collection, evaluation, and analysis are examined. Special emphasis is placed on the appropriate choice of methodologies for a variety of problem situations. Additional topics include the development of valid and reliable data collection instruments, the logic of sampling, as well as reading and writing research studies.
